Karavan Serai takes inspiration and plays music from Hindustani classical and Iranian traditions, through the Ottoman Empire, Arabia, the Mediterranean and the Balkans. Djordje was a guest bassist for the first show of the band with Stefan Sablic on vocals and oud, Dejan Zaric on riq and zarb, Akash Bhatt on tabla and Nenad Vjestica Khan on sitar and oud.
