First Djordje’s workshop in Italy! Space is limited to 10 students max, so hurry up. The workshop will be held at the Tom club (Grottazzolina (FM) – Presso Teatro Novelli, Via Parco della Rimembranza 1) in Ascoli Piceno (north of Pescara) on Thursday December 5th from 8pm to 9pm. This November and December Djordje will join rock’n’roll attraction from NYC Izzy and the Catastrophics! The band will be touring Italy, Switzerland and Germany starting this Thursday Nov 21st. This is one of a kind international lineup with Izzy Zaidman (USA) on guitar and vocals, Emi Vernizzi (Italy) on saxophone, Chapman Sowash (USA) on trombone, Gasper Bertoncelj (Israel) on drums and Djordje (USA) on bass. We are thrilled to announce that Djordje will join the legendary Serbian jazz guitarist Branko Macic and his band Hot Club of Belgrade in Parobrod this Friday Oct 4th at 9.30PM. The show will be a part of the new jazz series called Club Das Boot. This is one of the rare opportunities to see Djordje and his ex bandmate from Balkan Music Club, violinist extraordinaire Filip Krumes playing together. If you’re in Belgrade this Friday, don’t miss this one!
This fall, till October 5th, Djordje’s band Fishtank Ensemble is on tour. Due to family obligations Djordje is not able to play with the band. Excellent bass player John Hatton (of Brian Setzer Orchestra) is filling in again. Be sure to check the dates here and catch the band if you’re around. Djordje will be back rocking out with Fishtank Ensemble soon!!
After taking a couple weeks off, Djordje is back on the road with his rockin world music band. The gal and the guys are back to Europe for another tour. On this trip, the band will hit France, Italy, Montenegro, Macedonia, Slovenia. Djordje is super excited to bring his American band to his neck of the woods for the first time!

Due to family obligations, Djordje won’t be able to tour with Fishtank Ensemble in Canada this summer (including Calgary Folk Fest). The band will still do the tour with Djordje’s pal and Brian Setzer Orchestra bassist – John Hatton. Djordje will be joining the band for the rest of the summer shows in Europe. That’s right, folks. Djordje and Co will be performing at the legendary Hollywood Bowl for 10 weekdays July 8th-12th and 15th-19th.
“Summer Sounds” is the annual Los Angeles Philharmonic‘s series that will feature the music of Fishtank Ensemble this year. After rehearsing with very talented cast at the Walt Disney Hall, the band is ready to rock the Bowl! This is FE you haven’t seen before. The whole play is inspired by music and different life experiences of FE members. The band is an integral part of the show and they will be acting as well as playing for the audience two times a day (10AM & 11.15AM) in the next couple of weeks.
